Garrison Disposal provides dependable and courteous collection services to residents throughout the area. We provide weekly pick-up of garbage throughout the lakes area. Cart sizes available are 40, 68 and 98 gallon. Garrison Disposal provides weekly and seasonal residential garbage pick-up. Tag service is also available. Some items that are NOT acceptable to put in the cart are:
(Note - These items are also not accpetable with recyclables)

• Automotive fluids - motor oil, antifreeze
• Paint, stains, varnish etc.
• Any hazardous waste
• Fluorescent bulbs (call your local hardware store)
• Tires
• Electronics - computer, television, VCR or DVD player, etc.
  

There are times when you need a little extra removal help. Special pick up services are available for Garrison Disposal customers for the following items:

• Removal of unsold garage sale items
• Removal of pieces of sheetrock and other remodeling trash
• Disposal of furniture or appliances
• Leaves
• Quick removal of heavy leftovers from parties or receptions

Garrison Disposal can provide the help you need to dispose of those large items or clean up after an event. Extra dumpsters or other large containers will be provided upon request. Call the office for assistance or before placing out any large items for collection.

Planning a special event, such as a family reunion or wedding? Garrison Disposal can provide extra pick-ups or extra containers. Call one of our customer service professionals and they can assist you.

Recyclables are collected several convenient recycling locations throughout the area.

Recycling Services

Curbside recycling services are available in Aitkin and Onamia. Recycling drop off sites are open in Hill City, McGrath, Palisade and Malmo. Click here to see the recycling schedule for these communities.
